These Terms and Conditions explain how we work with you. By booking and attending a consultation (online or in-person), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Halle Carter / Progression Naturopathy, is a registered sole trader offering Naturopathic health consultations online (telehealth) and in person in Robe, South Australia.

2. Services Offered

We provide natural health consultations, including lifestyle advice, nutrition guidance, herbal medicine prescriptions, nutritional supplementation, and holistic health support.
Important: We do not diagnose medical conditions or offer emergency medical care. Our services do not replace GP or specialist care.

3. Insurance and Professional Membership

We are fully insured to provide naturopathic services, both in-person and online. This includes:

  • Public Liability Insurance – protects against claims for injury or damage during in-person sessions.

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance – covers advice or treatment given during consultations.

We are a professional member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). This means we follow their Code of Ethics and professional standards in all our work.

If you would like to see proof of our insurance or membership, you are welcome to ask at any time.

4. Bookings and Payments

  • You can book your session through www.progressionnaturopathy.com.au

  • Payment is due at the time of booking or before the session begins.

  • Prices are clearly shown on our website or discussed beforehand.

  • All fees are in AUD ($) and include any applicable taxes.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

·       Full payment is required at the time of booking.

·       If you cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment, you may request a refund. However, any payment processing or service fees.

·       If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, 50% of your payment will be forfeited. The remaining 50% can be refunded or credited toward a future session.

·       If you do not show up for your appointment and do not contact us, the full session fee will be kept.

If we ever need to cancel a session, we will offer you a full refund or help you reschedule at no extra cost.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

  • Your personal and health information is stored securely using SimpleClinic, a clinical practice management system designed for natural health professionals.

  • SimpleClinic uses secure, encrypted servers based in Australia and is compliant with Australian privacy and health data standards.

  • Your records will not be shared without your written consent, unless required by law (e.g. a court order or risk of serious harm).

  • You may ask to access or correct your records at any time.

7. Online (Telehealth) Consultations

  • Make sure you have a quiet, private space and a stable internet connection.

  • We use secure video platforms to protect your privacy.

8. Your Responsibilities

  • Be honest about your health history, medications, and symptoms.

  • Let us know if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or under the care of another health professional.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any harm caused by misuse of our advice.

  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials we give you (like handouts, guides, or recordings) are ours.
You may use them for your personal use only. Don’t copy, share, or sell them.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post changes on our website.
Your continued use of our services means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, specifically the laws of the State of South Australia.
If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it together in a respectful and cooperative way. If we cannot resolve it informally, the matter may be referred to a tribunal or court in your state or territory, as appropriate.
