GUT-HEALING CHICKEN SOUP

INGREDIENTS
4 stalks celery, diced
2 carrots, chopped
2 cup pumpkin, cubed
1 tin corn
1 onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, diced
3cm ginger, diced
1 handful of fresh herbs (I use thyme, coriander, chives)
1 whole chook (organic, free range), rinsed & pat dry
2.5L filtered water
1 tbsp bone broth concentrate (preferred)
1 tbsp celtic sea salt
METHOD
Prepare all of your ingredients.
Place all ingredients in your slow cooker and set on high for 6 - 7 hours.
Remove chicken carcass from the slow cooker (as best you can) and save all flesh for the soup.
Serve with sourdough crusty bread.
